You will be asked to create an account and complete the online application process here.
You will be asked to submit the following documents as part of the application process:
Annual gas certificate (for properties with a gas supply)
Electrical installation condition report
Portable appliance testing report
Legionella risk assessment
Copy of planning permission or certificate of lawfulness (if required - paragraph 5.2 of the Council's policy document advises you should engage with their Planning Service before submitting the licence application to find out if planning permission or certificate of lawfulness is needed. Proof of consent from owner (if applicable)
Evidence of operation as a short-term let on or before 1 October 2023 (for existing host e.g. booking confirmation email from Sykes for booking(s) that took place before 1 October 2022.)

The relevant fee for most of our owners is that being charged for secondary letting (ie. when you let out accommodation that isn’t your only or principal home) and so it is that fee to which we’ve referred in the table below:
1-2 persons: £300
3-6 persons: £450
7-10 persons: £550
11 persons or above: £750
Numbers are maximum guest occupancy.
The Council has not adopted any additional conditions at this time.
