Practical information about East Dunbartonshire Council's Short Term Let Licence process. To be read in conjunction with the  information relevant to the process for the whole of Scotland.
The Council’s policy for the licensing scheme is here.
To download the application form and checklist click on Appendix 7 at the bottom of the policy. Once completed, send it and any relevant evidence and the required documents to SLT@eastdunbarton.gov.uk or by post to Homelessness and Prevention Team, Kirkintilloch Community Hub, 2-4 West High Street, Kirkintilloch, G66 1AD
The required supporting documents are in the checklist at the bottom of the application form.
Find the fees at section 6.7 of the policy. The relevant fee for most of our owners is that being charged for secondary letting (ie. when you let out accommodation that isn’t your only or principal home), and so it is that fee to which we’ve referred below.
Property accommodates up to 10 persons £540
Every additional 5 persons above 10 is an extra £50
